Our plants are grown under nursery conditions and guaranteed to be free from pest or disease upon delivery.  Below is a sequence of photos depicting the long and laborious preparations that our Vetiver plants must undergo before being delivered to you.

Vetiver Plants Production Process
Field grown clump Clumps extracted from the ground Extracted clumps are transported Clumps staged for processing Mature field-grown plants are dug out and transported to a staging area near the nursery for processing.
Clumps are divided into individual root sections (slips) Slips are washed to remove original soil Slips are clean and selected for planting Slips are planted in sterile mix Clumps are split into individual root segments (slips), and washed to remove all traces of the original soil.  After inspection, the slips are individually planted in a sterile mix of peat moss, perlite, vermiculite and fertilizer.
Plants are grown until well rooted Plants are fumigated and prepared for shipment Finished plants ready for shipping Vetiver Solutions logo Plants are grown under nursery conditions until the root ball is ready to be planted successfully.  The finished plant is well rooted and hardened and ready for field planting at a new location
Commercial packaging Large shipment ready to go Internet packaging of plants Internet packaging of slips Plants and rooted slips are packed for shipment to commercial contractors and Internet buyers. Plants are shipped using a fast delivery service and are not affected by the transit time.
